We've been coming to the Colleyville location (could not find that location on Trip Advisor) since the day they opened. I don't think we have ever had a bad meal. The food is always fresh and plentiful. The Brisket Tacos, Tortilla Soup and Diablo Salad are favorites and so abundant I always have a to-go box going home with me. Margaritas are always good (and inexpensive in the restaurant world) - and when weather permits, sit on the outside patio!! This is always our "go to" spot when we have out of town guests and meeting with friends. Service is usually spot on as well ! TripAdvisor needs to put the Colleyville location in their system so they are getting the credit they deserve.

If you want the opportunity to eat good Mexican food, Rio Mambo offers it. They also offer healthier choices than your traditional Tex-Mex such as grilled shrimp and chicken. The restaurant can sometimes be loud and noisy during peak times but overall provides a nice environment.

Got to agree with Bart G. This once great place is no more. Rio used to have the best tortilla soup hands down. Now just the same ole tomato stuff like everywhere else. The salad lettuce was brown and “hidden” below everything. So this was a concerted effort to serve it, not just some accident. Tried the chalupa and it came with just plain ground hamburger, no flavor and no shredded beef like in the past. Stuff on top had no flavor. Wait staff does has challenges. Chips and salsa are about all it has going. Hurts to write this place off, now looking for a replacement that is consistent mex. You would think that in Fort Worth, that would be easy, but no luck so far.

Great Margaritas and Nachos. Good place to hang on their patio with friends and enjoy.
