While in town visiting family my father recommended this place for lunch. As a TN girl I rarely get good authentic Mexican food so I always look forward to TX restaurants. Service here is top notch. We were seated right away and our server was there within seconds. He gave us recommendations and was nice enough to point out the lunch menu on the back of the menu. My daughters each ordered beef nachos and the server let us know it was a very large order they could share...he was spot on there. I ordered to Arroz Con Pollo and was not disappointed at all. In TN this same item on the menu would have consisted of bland grilled chicken over normal rice and topped with cheese dip. Here you get tomatoes, onions and peppers with the chicken (which was shredded...I normally do not eat shredded beef or chicken b/c of the consistency) over delicious spanish rice topped with fabulous cheese (spicy and wonderful!). We ended up with way too much food and took a majority home with us.
This will be a must stop next time we are in town!
