“Nice Patio area”
Reviewed November 28, 2013

It is a great hangout spot after a long day. There is a covered patio which is pretty nice even when the nights are a little chilly since they put out the fire lamp furnaces. Trivia night is usually pretty fun there, but when they don't have the screen outside on the patio, it's very hard to hear the trivia host.
They also have a great selection of different & some expensive beers.

“Beer nerd hangout!”
Reviewed November 24, 2013

Sure, it's a chain, but it's a good chain that offers a vast array of beer styles from breweries everywhere. Apparently, each Flying Saucer site showcases local breweries. I liked the atmosphere and location of the Fort Worth Flying Saucer. Large bar, knowledgeable bar tenders, many tables, plus outside tables. Packed on a Wednesday evening. Good service and located in beautiful downtown Fort Worth.

“Fun place to go...tremendous selection of beer”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

We were in Fort Worth staying downtown and wanted to try some local establishments. We saw the Flying Saucer on Trip Advisor and independently a friend who heard we were going to Fort Worth suggested we go. We had a great time, and in fact went twice while we were in town. It is a fun place with a huge outside patio, although this is probably not the time of year to enjoy it very much. They have a huge selection of beers, so you should definitely be able to find one to your taste. The food was also very good. We had very good service the first time and the second time we sat at the bar, where the bartenders were friendly and very helpful with suggestions for selecting a beer. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area! If you try it, I don't think you will be disappointed.

“Known for their beer, but cant be bothered to serve it.”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

We went on a Saturday evening. It was busy but we didn't mind waiting for a few minuets. After about 10 minuets a table free'ed up and we sat down, it took another 10 minuets for a waitress to come by the table and take our drink order, never once noticing that the table wasn't bussed. We got our drinks after about 5 more minuets, this time she half bussed the table for us. After that we waited another 15 minuets for her to return with the beer we ordered and to take our orders. The food was OK, nothing special nor any spices used, all the chicken dishes were just plain unseasoned chicken diced and added to the salad, pizza or nachos. Halfway through the meal one of our party wanted to try one of the Beer Samplers, not being from this country, he wanted to get a good selection without having to order each individual beer. We were informed by the waitress "We aren't doing the samplers tonight because its taking too long to get them out." So a place known for their vast beer inventory cant be bothered to pour 10 small beers. Each table sits 6 people, but for some reason the table next to us had a party of 10, so instead of sitting the entire night, they stood between our and their table bumping into ours and knocking stuff over, its hard to enjoy a meal with out of town friends when there's 2 peoples rear ends at the end of your table the entire night. Management should have made them leave or find another place to sit their party. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

“A "brewski" for every taste!”

What a fun place to go with friends, etc. Their German sausages are pretty darn good. Choices of bottled beer is incredible! Over a hundred different kinds.
