OK, so I wrote a positive review on this before (for some reason it was deleted w/o notification??_
We arrived ~10 mins early before the restaurant was scheduled to open on a Saturday; there was already a line of ~15 people waiting to go in... wow it must be that popular with the locals!
I've been to a few different Hibachi restaurants (Benihana, Kobe, MT Fuji...) so they're all along the same vein of Japanese steakhouses.
As you enter, to the right is a small bar to wait for seating. Off to the left are the hibachi grills. This restaurant is wide open between the Hibachi grills so it can get a bit loud in here especially on the weekends with all the grills going at once and +80 people chatting in one big room. There are a couple of rooms off to the side to cater to either private parties or overflow.
The show was not so amazing as I've seen them quite a few times so it's probably harder to impress me; nevertheless it's all upon the cooks enthusiasm to either make it boring or fun.
The cook, food and service were good but not exceptional although the servings of the meat were plenty(they should be for the price). I'm not fond of the soup with it's sacrificial one slice of mushroom, although the small salad was limited with chunk of iceberg lettuce.
