Let's start with the service. Everyone is so friendly and efficient. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and informative about the menu. The food was delicious! We ordered the bacon wrapped lamb with a side of jalapeño grits. Both were scrumptious! The jalapeño grits are the absolute best and I highly recommend them. They are smooth with just amount of heat. For desert we ordered the pecan pie which unfortunately was very underwhelming. Desert aside the Reata is incredible and I can't wait to go back.

We have ate at The Reata several times and at different times of day. Generally the atmosphere is business casual during brunch and lunch with the evening meal more upscale. The rooftop area is beautiful in the evening with the lights and building architecture to admire while enjoying the menu. The brisket tamale is a signature dish and a must try in my opinion.

The Reata is my favorite restaurant in DFW. It's upscale, but not pretentious. Warm, but not stuffy. It feels as if you are dining at an oil billionaires ranch, which pays homage to the restaurants namesake of the movie Giant. The food is quintessentially Texan with a touch of foodie flare. Cocktails and desserts are not an oversight here. Quality in all courses. When the weather is fine, check out the roof top terrace. This is the perfect place for celebrating any occasion, treating out of town visitor, or just because you want a perfect Where the West Begins dining experience. Enjoy!

Reata manages to combine elegance with a rustic Texas vibe. The service is excellent: friendly and personable without being too chummy; attentive without being obtrusive. Just right. And the food! You're not going to find these dishes elsewhere. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts has a distinctly Texas flair. Presentation and execution are consistently excellent. Fort Worth has a great Opera Festival - you can catch one opera in the afternoon, have a splendid dinner at Reata (walking distance), and head back to Bass Hall for an evening opera. If opera isn't your thing, Reata is still close to Bass Hall and still a great option. The restaurant isn't cheap, but it certainly doesn't try to impress you with how expensive it is. Not a 3-time-a-week joint for most of us, but certainly affordable for an occasional fling. Brunch: Oh. Mah. Gawd. And a great bit of restaurant history: Reata used to be on the top floor of a high-rise, but the whole building got blown out by a tornado several years ago. How Texas is that??

Love to eat at the Reata!! Food is continually exceptional.
It is located downtown and if you sit on the balcony, you will have a beautiful view of Fort Worth. Everyone should try this amazing restaurant.
