We went on a Thursday night before Thanksgiving. The club itself has a speakeasy atmosphere - a neon sign in a dark alley that leads you to an elevator down to the lounge.
Seemed like local talent and regulars took their turns at the music and it was all great. We came just a bit after it opened and found it very quiet and slow.....but that changed very quickly once the music started. Great experience

This place checks all the spots; great music, tasty libations, and welcoming atmosphere! Scat is such a fun place to enjoy an intimate date night or bring friends to celebrate. Their calendar is always packed with amazing artists and the speak easy atmosphere takes you back in time. Before you even enter the elevator in the ally taking you down below to the lounge, seeing the Scat sign lighting the way signals an awesome night of jazz about to begin! Remember, if you go on a Sunday, Tuesday or Wednesday there is no cover charge! Grab dinner downtown and hit up Scat after for a wonderful music filled evening.

We traveled to Ft. Worth to have a anniversary celebration. We were excited to enjoy our time at a new place. This place was poorly designed, everyone was packed in like sardines, there was two giant pillars that blocked off the view to the band and there was one women’s, men’s and a coed bathroom (three stalls total available for the patrons.)
My husband and I were seated and opened a tab for the table we were at. At intermission we both got in line for the restroom’s. We came back and our table was occupied, so we moved to the next table over. We were then approached by management and told we had to get up and wait for another table to come up because we left our table. Long story short having a tab open at your designated table does NOT ensure your table is yours. You will be asked to move to the packed bar to wait who knows how long for another table.
This bar is totally discombobulated. Even our waitress told us she didn’t understand their rules and she has worked there for a few months. There is no point in visiting this place!! It is uncomfortable, you can’t see the band from a lot of the seats and if you get up you loose your seat weather you have a tab open at that table or not!

What a great place to catch some strings and bones.

Go down the street look for an alley and you will see the sign, Love the description on how to get here.

The Marque is a welcome sight.

Dark but not smoky.

Great music, different options every night. Come back often.

Good drinks to just relax.

Great place for a date, too bad i came with my co-worker.
A date would have been wonderful.
