“Nothing memorable except the price”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2014

For these prices you expect everything to be exceptional. The food was okay, but ranks mid-range of other traditional Mexican (not Tex-mex) restaurants we've frequented. The service was next to non-existent. The prices were ridiculous. Greedy. Definitely won't be back.

“So disappointed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2014

We went with high expectations..............but so disappointed. The restaurant is very small but was full and only had 2 waiters for drinks and food. We were seated immediately but then had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come over to us. Realized we didn't have menus so they left to go get us some! About 10 minute passed and they brought us some water and menus. Another 20 minutes went by and no one had come to take our order. By this time we were really frustrated and decided it would be best to leave and go elsewhere. Wish I could tell you the food was good but never got to try it. Also, it seemed very expensive! I don't think they ever knew we left!!!!! I noticed that other people in the restaurant were getting the same kind of service we were!!! Also this is not a place to take children. In my opinion this place will never make it unless they speed up the service!!!

“A great new experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014

We went here after visiting the Kimball Art Museum. The food was wonderful. There were five us and we all loved our food. The owner was short handed the day we were there, but he did a terrific job. We will definitely be back. The Tres Leches Cake was to die for. My wife had the mole enchiladas and they were the best I have ever tasted.

“Average Mexican cuisine with a hefty price tag!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014 via mobile

Heard about this restaurant from the Dallas News so put it on our list of new restaurants to try. Went for a late lunch on a weekday. The guacamole and chips were excellent. My grouper (fish) tacos good albeit very small pieces of fish were in the tacos (market price: $25 that day!!!!!). My husband's skirt steak tacos were just okay. We each had the marg of the day, a pineapple concoction. Very sweet - but too costly at $15 each for about a 10 oz drink. Food good, but nothing to write home about, given the dearth of TexMex restaurants in the area, many which are a cut above this eatery. And given the tab of $85 plus tip , I can truthfully say we won't be back!

“Different”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013 via mobile

If you are looking for fun and different dining this is your place. We loved the atmosphere. Service was great and the food was different not bad not great. I will have to go back and give it another try. Their mole is good but for the price i would expect something a little better!!!
