“largest honky tonk saloon”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

the place is huge and air conditioned. line dance lessons given all night long. kids are allowed because they have arcades and pool tables. i went during the week, thursday so it wasn't packed but just enough people to fill the dance floor. they sell food and you can take pictures on a bull statue. I saw a rodeo area in the back but it didn't the times of operation. i recommend it

“Much more than a place to eat.”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

Billy Bob's is a dining adventure, rodeo, museum, educational facility, hall of fame, country store and entertainment venue all wrapped up in one. While I do not care for country western culture, food or music, is was a fun place to visit. There is a $2 charge per person to enter - at least in the late afternoon. You can take dancing lessons, see some of the best entertainment in Country Western music, tour the facility like a museum and eat while you watch all ages learn Texas two step. It is well worth the time to visit. Earlier in the day it is more family oriented and later, more young adult and adult oriented. It includes a real bull riding arena. Even if you don't like Country or western, it is still worth a visit.

“Historic spot”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

I live in FW and have been to Billy Bobs many times. Classic stockyards for out of towners-- must see! For locals- decent concert venue- very smoky!! Need to have reserved seats to enjoy concerts.

“Go at least once.”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

You have to go, just say you went. Afterall, it's the largest honky tonk. The drinks are overpriced and if there's a good concert that night, it will be crowded. But it's fun for tourists wanting the full Ft. Worth, TX experience. Why not go look at cute cowboys all night?
