Spent a few nights in "Evening in Paris". 1) Our bed at home was more comfortable than theirs. We woke up with pain on our shoulders and upper backs. 2) Water pressure in the shower and sinks are extremely low. 3) On two different occassions, when in the jacuzzi, dirt came in from their tubing. 4) Our first morning's breakfast consisted of orange juice, yogurt, two tiny pieces of sausage and undercooked potatoes. That's it. So much for a hearty breakfast that I requested. 5) Their cooling system took about 45 minutes to kick off. 6) Due to the low water pressure, it took 30 minutes to fill up the two-person jacuzzi. We aren't coming back. Our first choice was Lockheart Gables because of our experience with them, but we wanted to try a different venue. Unfortunately, we should have just stuck with our instinct instead of visiting the Azalea Plantation.

Room Tip: Try out the water pressure of the venue before renting a room, also try sitting/laying on the bed fo...

Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We will do our best to discover WHY the water pressure was low during your visit. We personally CLEAN the rooms ourselves and take PRIDE in providing an atmosphere that we can be proud of. We will certainly be even MORE thorough in the future. Unfortunately, I am now aware that Richard delivered the wrong breakfast to your suite that 1st morning.....simply got wires crossed. We now have a NEW plan in place to always be sure our guests LOVE their breakfast.

What can I say that has not been said before? Wonderful hospitality, GREAT food, and all the details were just perfect. We really enjoyed the smores package around the outdoor fireplace. Tons of fun!

Thanks again Richard and Martha!

We planned our trip to St Stockyards (live in the Texas Hill Country) and invited very special friends from California to join us. We all loved our stay, sharing the upstairs "Lilly" and the "Sharon" rooms. Richard and Martha were absolutely awesome preparing wonderful breakfasts, helping us with our daily activites and just two wonderful people. They often kidded us about "no curfew" !

We look forward to staying there again and reconnecting with new friends, Richard and Martha.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Richard and Martha at Azalea Plantation. They treated us like part of their family, with all the warmth and love, and the beautiful Paris Suite made us feel pampered, with extra special little touches. We'll stay there again.

My wife and I stayed at the Azalea Plantation B&B after our wedding and couldn't be more impressed. We stayed in the "Night in Paris" room and it was beautiful. The bed was luxurious and comfortable, the jacuzzi very relaxing, and the LCD TV more than satisfactory for watching a few movies we brought. There were complimentary cookies and drinks and the breakfast in the morning was delicious and with great variety. Richard was such a nice man and talked with us, sharing some of his stories with us. Overall we had an amazing experience and hope to come back for our anniversaries in the future.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Azalea Plantation B&B. The owners, Martha and Richard are truly delightful and give you wonderful southern hospitality. They were very accommodating when we needed to add an extra day to our trip. We stay at many B&B's when we travel and this is definitely in the upper echelon of experiences we have had. We would highly recommend them and will come back to stay when we are in the area!!!

Room Tip: All rooms had king beds and sumptuous linens! Worth every penny.

We celebrated a birthday and it was one of the best times we had as a couple, we stayed in the Magnolia Suite which was absolutely the best. It was a very special time for me and my wife. Thank you to Martha and Richard for the excellent service and the very nice conversation and food in the morning. We definitely recommend to anyone to stay at Azalea Plantation.
