We are lucky and have a Risky's BBQ near our home so we have it regularly. Ive tried just about everything and its delicious! Try the chop beef for a sure thing. but the smoked sausage is also great. if you are on the Atkins or Paleo diet...this is your place

Thank Kathryn C

On a recent trip to DFW, my brother and I were looking for a place to eat in downtown Fort Worth and we chose Riscky's. The service staff was very nice and welcoming. The BBQ was ok. My brother had the fried catfish platter - good but an extremely large portion of food once you add in the three sides and the cornbread. It would definitely have been enough for us to share. I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich. The brisket was very tender and served dry so you could add as much or as little BBQ sauce as you liked. The BBQ sauce was a sweet, ketchup based sauce. Not particularly my taste as I prefer the spicier sauces, but it complimented the meal well. The restaurant has a good location in downtown where you can walk off the gigantic meal afterwards.

My husband and I went to Riscky's on our first night in Fort Worth we went to the one in downtown and had a great meal we opted for onion strings and fried pickles as a appetiser both were delish but far to much for two to share for our mains we had the three meat combo WOW it looked amazing but to be honest we could have shared one if we had known the size of the dish we wouldn't have had a appetiser but that was our error the food was amazing, the service first class refills of our lemonade appeared on our table without our knowledge the servers were on the ball you don't get service like that in the uk that's for sure if you're in Fort Worth I would personally say that Riscky's is a must five stars

Had liked Risckys in the Stockyards, so popped into the Downtown branch for lunch. Lots of seating with red check tablecloths and hoop backed chairs.
You get exactly what you order, so if you want salad or coleslaw or fries with your lunch and it's not on the menu, order it as a side.
Pulled pork in a roll and ribs in a basket were both pretty good and not oversized portions. It would appear that texas toast means bread toasted on one side only.
Service was fine.
A good choice for families.
