This is a great locally owned Japanese restaurant with a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, excellent service, outstanding food and very friendly owners. It's a super spot for lunch or dinner, with a varied menu from sushi to other Japanese dishes.

Service is prompt, professional and personal. It's a bit loud, but fine for business meals or family outings.

Though not as fancy as some of the other sushi places in Ft Worth, it was clean and simple. There was no wait at lunch. Service was prompt and courteous; in fact everyone was very friendly. The food was fresh and very good, with nice sized portions. The Volcano roll (california roll covered in scallops and baked with a creamy sauce) was amazing. Prices are very reasonable. Overall a very good experience. We will definitely return.

This place has some of the freshest/best tasting sushi that I have had in the Fort Worth area. The beef bowl was also very good and they have a french fry type appetizer that was good. Decent prices and a mom and pop type athmosphere.

This is a very unassuming sushi place, but it was packed on a Thursday night. The calamari appetizer was great & my hubby was impressed with ahi poke salad. It was a good sized portion at a reasonable price. All of the sushi was very fresh & great tasting without a ton of sauce.(this is a good thing in my opinion.) one of my favorite parts was you can get a glass of wine (either red or white) for just $5 if you let them pick the wine("surprise me"). They don't have a large wine list, but it was all pretty decent. A great little spot!!

We have driven by this restaurant for the past 1 1/2 years and have not yet gone in. Their sign is typically missing letters that are not lit and never gives off a - you have to stop and come in vibe. We stopped in tonight to look at the menu. Everyone was so nice from the hostess to the servers. The interior was clean and looked nice. We ordered udon, yaksisoba and miso soup to go. It was very good. We are definitely going to eat in sometime soon. We definitely recommend giving Tokyo Cafe a shot because the outside is misleading - inside contains great, nice people and good food.
