There is more 'History' here then I ever imagined! Lot of great historical pictures and personal artifacts on display! Definitely worth your time to go visit! Make sure you take your time to see all the exhibits!

This museum is small, but contains interesting memorabilita, uniforms, correspondence from etc American's civil war. If you're into women's fashion of the time (I'm not) there is a great collection to peruse.

I was impressed on the amount of items the museum had in its collection. Went with my teenage son who is a History buff. I never knew the last official battle of the Civil War was in Texas.

Dad, sis and even my nephew who routinely gets bored in seconds really enjoyed it. Just for sakes I did the scavenger hunt this time and discovered a number of things i missed the first time around. Just a fantastic, rich collection civil war era antiquity. They even recreate some battle scenes outside from time to time and will definitely like to catch that. Great time and respite from the norm of cell phones, traffic and the masses.
