My husband and I stayed here for one night the day after Christmas. Our room was spacious, clean, well decorated and cozy. The bed and bedding were super comfortable. The location is fantastic and allows easy walking access to any attraction in The Stockyards. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I don't think I'd stay anywhere else when I'm in Fort Worth as The Stockyards is my favorite place and this hotel was fantastic.

A few recommendations:
- I love the old school toilet, but the bathrooms could use to be a bit more spacious and updated
- I booked a weekday getaway and had to explain to the lady what all was included. She was very nice, but the staff should know these deals.
- Notify guests if they will have a street facing room. It got quite noisy at night, which didn't bother us at all, but I can see some people being unable to sleep.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper, request a room that does not face the street. There is a bar directly a...

We will definitely ask guests if they want a view of the street or an interior room that is quiet. Thanks for your great comments and taking the time to write this review.

Stayed for one night in the fall. Can't get a better location. Quick walk to the stockyards, quirky little shops and some fun bars. I loved the room. It was older as some have stated, but that's the point, isn't it? I loved pulling the chain to flush the toilet. :) Valet was convenient, reception was kind. I would absolutely stay here again. I loved it.

This hotel is an excellent place to stay when you wnat to stay in the Stockyards. Located in a historic building, right in the heart of the Stockyards area, and very nicely decorated in a Western-cowboy theme. In addition there is a nice bar and restaurant downstairs. However, it is not inexpensive, so penny-pinching cowboys beware. One more thing, we were unable to find a room with two separate beds, which is what we needed, and had to ask for a roll-away. I think it is because they don´t have any rooms with two separate beds unfortunately, since they don´t show that choice anywhere, so be careful with that if you need two beds.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. We do have rooms with 2 beds. They are listed on the web site as double double (DD) or victorian parlor queen queen (VPQQ). Thanks for your review and we hope to see you again.

The hotel is really amazing with its saloon and far west design, cow heads, wooden shutters, rocking chair. The location is on main street of stockyards, but after 6 pm, you could only stay in your hotel, because all the shops are closed and the streets are deserted, excepted the famous billy bob honkey tonk.
The room is correct, but not much. The only strenght is the decoration.

Large rooms but in need of refurb. We stayed in room 206 for 4 nights. Traffic noise on Fri and Mon morning was loud and constant from around 0630. It wasn't as bad at the weekend. The staff were friendly. Rooms are pricey for what you actually get but I guess that is dictated by the ideal location

There is no denying that this hotel is in a great location, has a lot of history behind it and retains great character. Having said that we did feel that the room furnishings and amenities could do with an upgrade to reflect the rates charged. We stayed two nights in the Bonnie & Clyde room, appropriately decorated complete with Bonnie's authentic pistol, newspaper clippings & even bullet holes in the shutters - great fun! However the dressing table area reminded us of the cheaper range motels we have visited & the bathroom needed refreshment - & a new lightbulb! Worst of all was the carpet, stained & sticky underfoot. But having said this we, we did enjoy the hotel. The staff were helpful & the restaurant very good. As out of towners we did not appreciate how busy it would be on a Sarurday night - when the rodeo comes to town. The atmosphere was great but be aware that the restaurants get very busy & it will be noisy!

Great hotel in keeping with a lovely area of the stockyards. Very authentic interior and clean and functional rooms. Great location in the heart of the stockyards main street, with helpful and friendly staff. We turned up on the day we visited the stock yards and were able to make a booking for that night.

We ate at the attached H3 Ranch restaurant which was the best food we had all holiday.
