The Gardens are great for a leisurely stroll among the flora. The Japanese Garden is a must see even though there is a small admission fee, it is more than worth it. If you have kids along, get some fish food for the huge Koi fish. It is fun for them to feed the fish.
The restaurant has really gone downhill since my last visit several years ago. I ordered the salmon with a Greek salad. The salmon was way overcooked to where it was actually hard! My wife couldn't believe it. Whoever was cooking had no idea how to cook salmon. We dined outside and there we three tables of customers. It took over an hour, and with three different people checking on us they still couldn't keep our water glasses filled. Both our salads (hers was a Caesars) were very bitter. Was not worth the stop.
