The Gardens are great for a leisurely stroll among the flora. The Japanese Garden is a must see even though there is a small admission fee, it is more than worth it. If you have kids along, get some fish food for the huge Koi fish. It is fun for them to feed the fish.
The restaurant has really gone downhill since my last visit several years ago. I ordered the salmon with a Greek salad. The salmon was way overcooked to where it was actually hard! My wife couldn't believe it. Whoever was cooking had no idea how to cook salmon. We dined outside and there we three tables of customers. It took over an hour, and with three different people checking on us they still couldn't keep our water glasses filled. Both our salads (hers was a Caesars) were very bitter. Was not worth the stop.

This is a nice, free stop. It's a fun place for the kids to walk around and count the turtles in a pond. It's also relaxing and lovely. Plants are labeled, and it's a great place to get landscaping ideas. A beautiful place to stroll.

Very, very nice place to visit. So many plants were in bloom -- should've brought allergy med. Lot of families strolling down the paths, kids playing. And it's free!

It's also a great place to "pop the question..."!

I have read many great reviews so I will keep this short and sweet. If you are new to the area or you're a local, this is beautiful, tranquil, and relaxing way to stroll through the gorgeous scenery. What magnificent flowers and gardens. There are restaurants here, and an awesome Japanese Garden with a huge winding KOI Pond where the kids can feed the fish. It a must see.

This is a rare gem in a downtown (close by) area. This was hard to believe we were walking in such a blooming awe inspiring place and barely out of downtown Ft Worth. This is a large free place to visit and see flowers, trees , shrubs and waterfalls. There is a small fee for some areas but it is mostly fr maintenance. Great places to take photos of family and loved ones. Many many awesome seventies. Grab a camera and the family and a picnic basket and make a mid summer evening out of this. Noticed they are starting a month long concert series there with the Ft Worth Symphony ad nightly fireworks. Have to get us some tickets this week for our favorites. Per the locals these events are sold out and not to be missed.
