“Don't go in winter, not much to see.”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

I hear good things about it and it was close (and free) but given that it was January, not much was going on.

“Love to Visit the Botanical Gardens”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

We have visited the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens many times, both with and without friends and grandchildren, and ALWAYS marvel at the well maintained beauty and variety of flora at the gardens. Highly recommend a visit.

“Fantastic Fireworks Show!!”
Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

I have been to the gardens several times. It is always beautiful. This year we also went to 4th of July fireworks show. Wow. The music was great and the show was one of the best I've seen. Take your earplugs if you are sensitive to sound. They are literally right over your head. Awesome.

“Spring and Fall - Pretty Incredible”
Reviewed December 25, 2012

The extensive Botanic Gardens in Fort Worth are wonderful. The city has taken care to create a phenomenal rose garden, and a tree preserve (go there when the magnolia trees bloom!!!) - and do not miss the beds (upon beds, upon beds) of native blooming gardens - everything is marked to easily see what is being grown. Flowers, grasses, plants, cacti, trees, and the Japanese garden. Do not miss this peaceful place.

“Love this FREE place!”

Peaceful and well maintained. I have been visiting the gardens on a regular basis for well over 2 decades. Great place for photo taking or just a relaxing picnic.
