We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and they put us right across from each other...it was SOOOO clean...this is the first time I think I have ever walked on hotel floors with bare feet!!! All of the employees were so nice, when we go back to Ft. Worth, which is often, we will always try and stay here!! OH and the Chocolate Chip Cookies are YUMMY!!! Must have one at Midnight!!

We stayed at the Hyatt Place Fort Worth Cityview because it was close to family that live in the area. It was nicely decorated and the staff was very friendley. The only complaint I have, is that the bathroom area was too small. With the sink area outside of the bathroom, it made it hard to get ready while other family members were still sleeping. There was not enough room for our clothing either. Not much in the way of drawer space or a place to put your suitcase. It was very clean and spacious other than the bathroom area.

My sister and I had a great weekend away at Hyatt Place! The check-in/check-out kiosk was so easy to use! I love not having to deal with all the paperwork. Also, the room was surprisingly large and very comfortable. The fridge was a bonus! Great rate with hotwire!!!

Requested a room with a double bed, but upon check in they only had king sized rooms. But they switched us to a double room the next night, upon my request. When we returned, they had moved our things to another room & had a key waiting for us. Good breakfast for free and the staff worked VERY hard to keep everything in stock on the breakfast bar---which said a lot because there were two highschool sports teams staying there that weekend. I'd definitely stay there again. Roomy, comfortable, fairly quiet, and the staff worked hard to accomodate us.

My husband and I stayed in the Hyatt Place Fort Worth Cityview for one night (Dec 31) because we could not get a hotel room downtown. Neither one of us liked the room. The beds were extremely firm to the point of being uncomfortable, so I did not get a good night's sleep. I also started itching as soon as I sat on the bed. There was minimal drawer space, so we ended up laying our suitcases out on the sofa. Also, the closet was very small.

Since the "bathroom" sink is outside of the bathroom directly across from the beds it is impossible to use the sink or blow dry your hair or whatever you would normally want to do in a closed bathroom without disturbing the other occupants (especially if you get up before them).

On the positive side, the continental breakfast was decent, the staff was friendly, and there's a small gym and a heated outdoor pool. Also, this hotel is surrounded by lots of shopping and restaurants.

But, in summary, we have no desire to ever stay here again.

For a remodeled hotel (you can tell because of the popcorn ceilings) within the last few years, they designed the space well. Our king bed room was divided into four parts: 1) the bed, next to the window that from the sixth (top) floor facing East really does have a view of the city. 2) The sitting room with has a sectional couch with an ottoman. It appeared this also made into a hide-a-bed. Both the sitting room and the bed faced the large Samsung HDTV, which swiveled from bedroom to sitting room. 3) Office/bar had an extra sink (with a mirror), small, empty refrigerator, desk and chair. There were a lot of ports in the wall, between the TV and desk for plugging in every kind of electronic. 4) Separate vanity sink, closet and tub/shower and toilet.

A couple of good design features we noted were the faucet at the vanity, placed in the corner of the oval sink which made it easy to use the sink without having to avoid the faucet. Another was the usual arched shower curtain rod which, in this case, arched enough around the ceiling light fixture to allow light in the shower.

The free breakfast was a true continental, without eggs, meats or a waffle maker. But they kept the supplies stocked. They had actual dishes for use, instead of paper, or plastic. One could order "hot" items for a cost, but we did not use this service.

The staff was outstanding in courtesy and were always working hard.

I've included pictures of the room and features I mentioned above.

Enjoy.

I highly recommend the Hyatt place, we've stayed at several and always had great luck. This location is easy to get to and a had free parking and a good breakfast. The rooms are very well laid out, you can definately make your self at home for a few days without feeling closed in.
