“Amazing collection in a beautiful setting.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

World class museum! There is no charge to visit the permanent collection, which is truly an exceptional assemblage of rare and fine works from around the world. The well curated special exhibits are well worth admission to view them in such a perfect venue. The orginal building, Louis Kahn's renowned, modern architecture is a masterpiece of magical, natural lighting. It is well complimented by the more ephemeral spirit of the new Piano Pavilion which allows much more of the outstanding collection to be on exhibit. A must see in Fort Worth and very well located in the cultural district to spend a day visiting the Kimbell, Modern, Amon Carter, Museum of Science and History and National Cowgirl Museum -- all within an easy stroll.

“A Beautiful Space - A Fabulous Permanent Collection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

The Kimbell is a true treasure here in Fort Worth. It can boast an excellent permanent collection of works. There are several great traveling and special exhibits each year as well. The building itself is gorgeous, filled with space and light. The cafe and gift shop are a must when you visit. It is a great place to take guests from out of town and a spiritual retreat for we Fort Worthians.

“New addition to Kimbell Art Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

The Piano Renzo addition to the Kimbell is outstanding. It complements the Louis Kahn original building very well. The auditorium acoustics are outstanding and the display of more of the permanent collection is great.

“Kimbell Art Museum, Fort Worth, Texas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

After traveling North America, Europe, and Asia, we are comfortable in saying that the Kimbell is the finest small museum in the world. There is no average art displayed. It is all the best of classical art.

“Fabulous new addition to great small museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

I attended the opening of the new Renzo Piano addition to the Kimball Art Museum last night. What a beautiful space! Can't wait to see it in the daylight. It really opens up the whole museum, allowing space to show the fantastic permanent collection. It is light and elegant. What a treasure!
