There is something for everyone here. Old and new hotels , great dining, lots of live music and lots of kid friendly actitivites. The history here is rich and interesting. There are cool museums and shops all within close walking range. Stay the night, you'll be glad you did.

My brother and I were looking for a place to eat and ended up wandering into the Stockyards! Wow, so cool! We enjoyed wandering the streets and checking out all the shops and bars. Lots to see and do, we even bought Cowboy hats to bring home we had such a great time!

This place is about as hokey and commercial as you can imagine. The cattle drive is a joke. Don't blink as the steers go by or you will miss the whole thing. I don't know who is more bored, the cattle or the "drovers." The assorted museums all charge high prices for entry and they don't advertise their admission prices outside so you have to enter and go to the cashier to find out how much you are going to be ripped off. If you turn around to leave you feel stupid. Considering the history of the Fort Worth area, I sure as heck expected more. Wasn't worth bucking the traffic on I30.
