“Perfect but for the music”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2014 via mobile

Step into Pho Crystal and you step out of the dreary suburban sameness that is Fairview. Robins egg blue walls, Vietnam gee gas and impeccable cleanliness make this a cool and comfortable spots.

Loved my pork spring rolls and tofu pad thai. Only complaint ... The infernal radio tuned to Top 40 music. I guess it has to be suburban somehow. Service was prompt and female owner was friendly.

Good interesting alternative to chainville. Fresh ingredients help a lot.

“Great Food, Best Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2014

Our family loves this wonderful family owned business. Their food is excellent every time!!! We found this small hidden gem a couple of years ago and go there a lot! The owners are so friendly and accommodating. We've never had a bad meal there, ever! Go and try it. You won't regret!

“Great Pho place with friendly feel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

Great family owned and operated Pho restaurant. Good menu options across the board with a good satisfying broth for the Pho.

Now the best part. If you want the food prepared a little different, not a problem. My wife is really not a fan of a lot of Asian restaurants and the usual find is some kind of fried rice dish. But here she is branching out, and because they will modify the dish for her she is much happier.

I love the various Pho's and soups. The various "body parts" are nicely cut and carefully placed in the hot broth with plenty of Pho. Add some extra bean sprouts, basil, lime, hot sauce, and you are ready to go. But first - wait just a minute or so for all of the flavors to blend. Taste. Stir and mix the bowl. Enjoy!

Another feature that we like, they say hello and ask how your day is going. And you do the same. The owner's children are always well behaved doing their homework or helping. You feel at home very quickly.

Negatives - this place can get very crowded and it is small. So time your arrival times not to hit the high points. Now this is really not a negative it means the food and value is good. Just who wants to wait a long time for a nice bowl of Pho?

Also like many Pho restaurants don't expect low lighting, table cloths, linen napkins, or fancy presentation. That can happen with food from Vietnam but not in a Pho shop.

“So Good You Will Crave it Again”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2013 via mobile

All I can say is they know what they are doing. Friendliest owners and staff in North Texas. During peak hours get there early or know that you may have to wait a little while. All the traditional favorites plus some family recipes. They will also make a custom dish to your specs if what you want is not on the menu.

We gave this place a try in June and now are once or twice a week regulars. The staff know our names, greet us like friends and know our favorite dishes.

The veggies are the freshest anywhere, the cooking is clean and the portions generous. The That drinks and teas are awesome.

Prices are inexpensive for what you get. Phone Crystal is exceptional. We leave the place wishing we lived closer and after a day or two we crave going back for our next visit.

Phone is spot on. Noodles are too. Best rolls we have ever had.

“Family Run, Good Quality, Comfortable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

This is a small, family-run restaurant that offers quality food and good portion sizes. EVeryone works here, mom, dad, kids, uncles, etc, and the family touch shines through. When I go to a mom & pop restaurant and see the kids sitting at a table doing homework, I have (almost) always found the experience to be good.

Check it out, you will go away happy and content.
