“One of the few 24/7 restaurants”
Reviewed October 17, 2013 via mobile

Trevinos has been around since forever. They left their old restaurant and moved into their bigger and better building next door. Scenery wise, it's the best looking restaurant I've seen in the valley. They just re-did the interior, if you haven't you should check it out. The food is ok. It your ordinary Mexican restaurant food you've had everywhere else. The place is open 24 hours by the way.

“24hr Mex-American restaurant”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

Been coming here since Highschool. As far as I can remember before we had Denny's or an iHop this was the only place where you could get a bite to eat 24/7. The menu is extensive, no........its very long, which is a pro and a con. There is a lot to choose that you'll find a dish you'll want but may take awhile for you to settle on. I've had their burgers to some of their mexican dishes (enchiladas, fajita plates, botanas etc) From what I remember they also serve country fried steaks and some sea food. Over the years they've added and taken away items but they have your basic dishes. its a bread and butter joint compared to other typical Tex Mex restaurants. The decor is medicore and shows its age. On most weekends you'll find mariachi's taking requests and playing live music. It can also get popular place to eat when the Bars close at 2pm you'll get a rush of people who dine out and could careless how anything taste which is what i've been guilty of in the past.

There is 2 reasons why i don't come often to this place. 1. the food is okay, not terrible but not terrific. 2. Its north of town, away from the city core and where most businesses are located.

“This is where the locals eat”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

The homemade corn tortillas are the best I have ever eaten. I go there for the Caldo talpeno, but everything is good. everything is great. It is decorated inside like the restaurants I used to go to is Reynosa. Their botana platters are wonderful if you can take the calorie content.
