Wonderful but limited selection of great food. Wine and Beer only small intimate rooms better for small parties rather than large ones.

“Great meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2014 via mobile

We were a group of 11 on our weeknight visit. Tuesday night advertises fresh oysters and a couple in our group had that. The goat cheese appetizer is out of this world! The stuffed mushroom app was good. I had the seasonal watermelon salad as my main course and it was good, not great. Others in our party had the petite steak, which came with creamed spinach and it was excellent. Others had the chicken pasta and said it was just okay. Service was very good. Overall expensive with above average food and a decent selection of food and wine.

“Relaxed Fresh Gourmet ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2014 via mobile

This was an amazing dinner in a small gracious restaurant with delicious appetizers and a wonderful array of entree choices from tile fish to pork belly and Panko crusted oysters. Sophisticated wine choices and heavenly desserts. Carrot cake alone is worth the trip- to die for! Butter creme icing. And order the Moscato di Asti dessert wine. Perfect escape from Austin.

The food here never fails us. The service is impeccable with their team of waiters. They have wonderful daily specials that use seasonal and local foods.

“YES!! Its really in Dripping Springs....Awesome!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2014

Friday night dinner with the wifey...Had a reservation and were seated immediately (I hate when you have a res and have to wait 20 minutes)..great start. Jordan (im pretty sure) was our server and was fantastic. His suggestions were spot on...the scallops were amazing (the pasta that comes with these appears to be homemade) either way its awesome. The app special was an oyster chowder and was perfect, my wife's pear salad was amazing and presentation was beautiful. The filet my wife had was cooked to perfection and the sauce was on point. We live in Austin and eat at all the hot spots, but to leave this place off the "hot list" would be a crime. Pieous and Bordeaux are what got us going regularly to Dripping, but Creek Road will be what keeps us coming back :) (But we will still go to pieous and bordeaux too..haaah) Thanks Creek Road for a great Friday get away.
