Went to a post-wedding brunch there. The baked goods were exceptional and the frittata was not half-bad either.

On our way to bird watch at Perdenales State Park we stopped for a bite to eat at Rolling in Thyme and Dough. The cute little house has been tasteful expanded for table seating. There is outdoor seating and a place to sit and drink coffee in one section. The kitchen is in the back and the counter offers all kinds of tempting goodies to eat. the menu including gluten free goodies. The food we ordered was delicious and tasted homemade. The bread was great. The atmosphere was pleasant, large windows looking our to a garden of native plants that are for sale. The location is off of 290 a major highway so care should be taken backing up and getting in and out of the
parking area.

Had some of the items on the menu brought to me and they were really good, so when I had guest from out of town we decided to drive down for breakfast, don't get to go often, but it is worth the time.

This is a nice place to stop for sandwiches and dessert. the atmosphere is casual. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. sometimes the wait to be served is to long. I think they need to fix this annoying problem. The restaurant expanded but no new registers were added.

They just remodeled a few months ago so they can accomodate their growing number of fans. Great place to grab a pastry and a cup of coffee and visit with friends. On Thursday nights they have Bistro Night: bring your own wine and order a wonderful appetizer and/or entree. Menu changes each week.
