The food at this huge, no-frills emporium is excellent and very reasonably priced. Brisket is tasty; the sausage is good but not great; the ribs are fine, although the bones are large and the meat is somewhat sparse. Sides are also good (coleslaw and potato salad are both recommended). The noise level can get extremely high, as you might expect, given that indoor seating takes place at picnic tables in one very large open room. Service is attentive. There's no corkage fee if you bring your own beer or wine; although the restaurant itself sells neither, there's a building right next door where you can buy both.
We arrived around 6:00 on a weekday and had no trouble getting a table; however, by the time we left, people were waiting in line. I presume that weekends would bring even larger crowds.
