It for sure was a great deal for us. We were looking for a budget place by Kemah Boardwalk area. Boy all other motels within 5 miles were pricey for similar amenities. This little hideaway motel is nestled in an off beat quiet residential back alley. Looks surreal, like a camper's or hosteliers overnight delightful stay place. It is loaded with amenities beyond expectation. The Inn keeper seems to over please the guests almost to the point of obsession. The only draw back perhaps is that this is an old rehabilitated motel , extensively remodeled, overly furnished and looks not quaint but tacky. I guess that is Texas decor at its countryside best! Rooms surrounded by a manicured courtyard is really homey.
However the idyllic pastoral surrounding, easy access to everything and everywhere we wanted to go or do was easy simple and effortless. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would like others to seek it out.at substantial savings. Best of Times.
