it is a new resturant, we loved it. Great food and margaritas. They have happy hour everyday all day. so good prices on the margaritas. and you have to try the bean soup. its the best. Not a very big place but well worth eating there.

“Pancho's Quality Food In An Upscale Setting”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2014

I was thrilled to see a new mexican restaurant in Denton and hoped that it would be a better provider of mexican food than the typical mexican food restaurants in Denton which are boring Tex Mex. Upon entering the restaurant, you can tell that the owners did their homework on decorating. It is smart and stylish, with great views of the Downtown Denton Square. We were promptly seated and noticed that very few people were there. The bar was empty and it was Friday night. Hmmmm. We were quickly served chips and salsa. The chips were warm and crisp and the salsa had an amazing flavor. This was great homemade salsa. We ordered house margaritas from a waitress that acted like she had been given no training and had never been a waitress. When the margaritas arrived, they were nothing to write home about, and reminded us of the margaritas that you get a Taco Cabana. How do you screw up a margarita that is made from scratch? Maybe the bartender wasn't trained in bartending. My girlfriend ordered a grilled chicken salad in a tortilla bowl and I ordered a shrimp stuffed chile relleno. The chicken was overcooked and the relleno was horrid. It tasted like canned shrimp and cheese whiz stuffed inside a poblano pepper. No salt, no spices, just horridly bland. With entrees priced at 14 bucks, you don't expect bland food and poor service. We won't be back.
