My suit jacket button came loose as I was heading toward a meeting. Recognizing my challenge, Concierge Eddie Van Derdys instantly pulled a sewing kit from his drawer and, with charm and a smile, quickly saved the day by personally sewing back my button. Eddie went beyond the call of duty. I had similar helpful experiences throughout my Hilton Anatole visit such as when obtaining document copies, looking for meeting rooms and seeking a taxi. It is the small things that often make a hotel standout from the others. Thanks to Eddie and Hilton Anatole for their excellent customer service!

I was very disappointed in this hotel. Although it was georgeous and clean, I would never have chosen to stay here myself. There was no free internet anywhere in the hotel, 24 hours cost $14, with tax. Although there was a refridgerator, you could not use it or you would be charged for the snack bar items you moved. You could not even call a 1-800 # from the room to use a calling card!

I would have rather stayed next door... they had wi-fi IN THE ROOMS, a fridge and microwave!

Stayed at the Hilton Anatole with a convention and got a good rate, USD 104 plus tax for a twin room. Requested a tower room since this was much closer to the Trinity Exhibition Center, and got a nice room on the 18th floor overlooking the Dallas skyline.
(Note: The hotel is huge, I never got around to see the atrium side of the building, so if you are doing some kind of convention work in the ballrooms I strongly recommend the tower rooms).

With over 3000+ attendees, the hotel filled up quickly and this caused lengthy waits for the elevators, especially going down in the morning. Had to set the alarm a bit earlier to aviod the bigger queues, waits of 10-15 minutes was normal. If you want to avoid this, ask for a room on a lower floor and use the stairs.

Did not use the breakfast buffet, instead drove 3-5 minutes to the Original Market Diner on 4434 Harry Hines Blvd for breakfast. Great service, great food, and close to the hotel. There is also other cheap options nearby the hotel. Went down once to Rathskeller (in the basement) which must be one of the worst "sportsbars" in Dallas. Sure had beers and burgers, but slow service and ONE television set in the restaurant. On the plus side, the service in the Gossip Bar was great even though it had lots of customers after convention hours (due to the wait for the elevators we sat down there instead). Gossip Bar also had Starbucks coffee, muffins, and other breakfast options to go in the mornings.

The room was spacious, very comfortable beds, nice interior and design. Housekeeping, valet guys, and bellman did their job during our stay.

Recommendations:
- Original Market Diner for breakfast, half price compared to the buffet in hotel, and a easy drive from the hotel
- Use wireless internet in public areas if you do not need to work in the room (we chose to have internet in our room for convenience, but you may not need that extra cost)
- If you request a room in the tower, make sure to check in at the tower lobby to avoid dragging your luggare through the whole hotel
- Parking is expensive, but USD 17 for self service is easier to take when the lot is right in front of the terrace and you do not need to walk half a mile to the car, as the case can be in other hotels. Valet staff assisted us in a nice way.
- There are loads of nice sportsbars in Dallas so no need to spend your money on a subpar joint in the basement (Rathskellers)

Stayed there for a convention. Tower room was as good as it gets. Beautiful, new and clean. Great service. Wish it was downtown though since you have to drive or cab to get anywhere else.

I stayed at the Hilton Anatole and had a one of a kind experience. The room had the most comfortable bed I have slept on EVER! The room inspired artistic design for somethings I envision in my own home.
The V SPA is a true paradise. Sarah welcomed me and made me feel like I was on vacation in paradise. True customer service! The facilities and gym where top notch.

Must stay here and visit the V SPA!
