This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms were great and the restaurants throughout were wonderful.

We've stayed at this hotel numerous times when we go to Dallas because it's a very reliable hotel that is pretty much centrally located to everything in Dallas. I do agree that most things around the hotel are very difficult to walk to, so you have to rely on someone that has a car or rent a car yourself if you want to do anything outside the expansive hotel grounds.

As for the hotel, we always request the a room in the Tower (for some reason every time we make a reservation we are always offered a room in the Atrium and I always have to ask for a room in the Tower - the rooms are the same price). The rooms in the Tower are refurbished, there is no noise from the open atrium, and the views of Dallas are better on the higher floors.

The rooms are very comfortable, and the decor is very stylish. The beds are soft, and the rooms are ample in size. The bathroom has two sinks, a hairdryer, a lit shaving mirror, and a lot of towels. The only strange thing about the restroom is the toilet - every time you flush the thing it seems like everything in the bathroom is getting sucked in as well. It's not really annoying, but it just catches you off-guard.

The Executive Lounge is decent. They have a bar and a few snacks in the afternoon. But there is no free computer access, which was strange for me. The staff in the lounge is very helpful and welcoming, so it was a pleasant stay.

The only problem I had about this hotel is that I couldn't find a corkscrew. I asked the front desk where I could get one, and she said that the hotel had none. So I went to the Executive Lounge and asked if I could borrow a corkscrew (I even brought the bottle of wine with me), but under law he couldn't open the bottle. He offered to call housekeeping and have a corkscrew delivered to me. The response was quick, and we were drinking our wine within ten minutes. So if you ever need a corkscrew, just call housekeeping.

We did try the gym in the building behind the hotel. The only problem about the gym/spa area is that it is not connected to the hotel. It was below freezing when we wanted to use the gym, so we just ran as fast as we could to this building. Once inside (HHonors members can use the gym complimentary), the check in staff was very nice. The gym was pretty impressive. Each machine had its own television, so don't forget to bring your earphones! There is a towel service, so you don't have to bring a towel from you room. We didn't use any other parts of the gym due to lack of time, but the spa services seemed nice.

Even though the hotel is extremely huge, the personalized service is there. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and this is what always brings us back to the Hilton Anatole.

  • Liked — Comfortable rooms and gym
  • Disliked — Nothing is close to the hotel if you want to walk around

I don't know how this place survives. Services provided free at less expensive hotels cost extra here. Free parking, breakfast, local phone calls, business center - forget about it at the Anatole. In addition, the rooms are very noisy due to the atrium architecture. Good luck sleeping through the night uninterrupted.
Save your money, stay elsewhere, and get a good nights sleep.

  • Liked — very attractive lobby & public areas
  • Disliked — noisy at night. couldn't sleep

I am a repeat guest at the Anatole for business and look forward to it every time. The beds are ultra comfortable, the amenities are luxurious and the customer service is consistently good. I always get a great massage in the spa while I am there too. The meeting rooms are plentiful and dining options vary. If you have a conference to attend, it is worth it to pay the extra money to stay onsite.

I stayed here for a 3 night conference for work. This is a great hotel to have conferences and can accommodate very large groups, lots of very nice meeting space. The city of Dallas has lots to offer but the hotel is quick cab rides from the city center restaurants and bars. The hotel as everything you actually need including several bars and even a night club. There were over 200 in my group and there was another large company with a larger group there during the same time. We has tons of fun at the local hotel bars and club.

The rooms were very comfortable with great beds and everything was very clean.

The ambiance of the hotel makes you feel as if your in a museum with sculptures around every corner. Most meals were provided for us and the food was average but room service was good.

  • Liked — the comfort of the rooms and beds
  • Disliked — coudlnt walk to the downtown area

Stayed here for a conference. Its a very Large hotel with good restuarants, Especially the mexican one in the lobby was great, Also had free wifi in the Lobby. The only issue was that it was too isolated you needed to take a cab to do anything. There was a Denny's around the corner, but that was it. Wish it was located closer to downtown.

I was here for a conference. The hotel is huge and has good grounds. It works well for conference space until you want to eat or go do something. That being said this hotel is not in a good location. About the only thing around are more hotels and a Denny’s. And don’t go walking around the neighborhood looking for anything, because it’s not a good neighborhood. The hotel itself has many restaurants and shops. However unless you like paying 40.00 for a pasta dish, 16.00 for an order of Nachos smaller than taco Bell, or 6.75 for a bottle of beer, then go elsewhere. Everything is overpriced here. And if you must stay here, rent a car, because taxi rides are the most expensive I have ever heard of. The rooms are fine. They have plenty of space and a mini bar. Beds were comfortable.
