Warwick Melrose - Dallas

Beautiful historic property located in the uptown area of Dallas. The rooms are advertised as being "over sized" and they are right- we have stayed and several different historic hotels over the years and this one really was quite spacious. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have every slept on- you can really get a good nights sleep.

The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful, the hotel offers a courtesy car that will take you any place within a three mile radius of the hotel. One driver in particular was very helpful and informative, if you get Leon you will indeed be fortunate.

The Landmark restaurant in the hotel was excellent and offered delicious entrees (we had the lamb) and the service was perfect!

The only negative would be that the room internet service was a separate charge although free wifi was available in the lobby.

The Warwick is a keeper when in Dallas.

Great boutique hotel. Really enjoyed the room and The Library (bar, bistro, live music 7 days a week). Staff were professional in every way. Valet, at $25 a day, is overpriced. It takes this hotel from good value to terrible value. I struggle with this decision, but I would not stay there again because of the amount of the valet fee.

Otherwise this is a fabulous hotel. If you are not concerned about the fee don't hesitate to stay there. It is 3 mins to the Tollway, 4 mins to Hwy 35. Close to a Starbucks and restaurants.

We all know the hotel is gorgeous, but I did not know how great the rooms are. We walked in to our King Superior Suite and could not believe how large the room was. We had a large bar area, study area, living room, dining room, master bedroom, and master bath. The hotel, service, rooms, restaurant (we ate breakfast there), and Library Bar were all fantastic. My grandparents were with us and my grandmother's exact words were "After staying here, I am never staying at the Adolphus again" (and trust me, she is hard to impress). A+++ all around!

We are now traveling to Dallas 3-4 times per year and the Warwick-Melrose is now formly established as our base there, partly due to location but mostly due to the value provided and the low-key, friendly ambiance.

The rooms are large, comfortable and reasonably appointed. The beds are comfortable but not on a par with the Westin's Heavenly Beds.

The restaurant is a beautiful room with very nice food and the neighborhood features a number of more moderately priced restaurants as well as a number of clubs.

What distinguishes the Warwick from the other hotels in this neghborhood is the warm service and ease of stay. All the staff has proved very helpful and accomodating on our three visits to the Warwick and its been a snap to get in, get out and get to our next event.

This is an elegant, luxurious hotel with the most friendly, courteous staff!! The room was beautiful and I didn't want to leave the bed fit for royalty!! I was pampered at my ever turn. The library bar had wonderful music and the staff was an absolute pleasure!! I will be back very soon. The hotel is located not even a block from the most hopping clubs with all the beautiful people!! It was better than being at home!!

In the middle of a business trip I somehow ended up at the Warwick. I rolled up in jeans and a t-shirt and was overwhelmed with the elegance of the place. It was the first time I felt under-dressed for a hotel lobby.

Vintage is not usually my aesthetic, but it is a lovely contrast to the rest of Dallas, which seems to have been built entirely in the 80's. More importantly, I forgot how wonderful it is to have solid wood doors, real windows, and a room that is almost totally soundproof. And you don't have to make any compromises with bathroom fixtures or an internet connection.

All in all a lovely stay. I hope I get more surprises like this down the road.

i stayed there for a wedding and the entire trip was wonderful. The hotel bar is one of the very best i have ever been to and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The old world feel of the hotel blends perfectly with modern luxuries and amenities. A must for people who love cool hotels.
