Mother and I stayed for one night after arriving at Love Field. The hotel is very convenient to Love. It was a last minute trip so I used Priceline. I bid $50 and was awarded the CP - Market Place. It is older and not up to other CP's I've stayed at but the rrom was very clean and the staff friendly. The only thing in the room that I could complain about were that the drapes were a little worn (who cares) and the "Sleep Better" amenities were not in the room. The beds are to die for though. The linens are the thickest and softest (truly luxurious) for any hotel short of the Sheraton I've ever found. This alone for me is head and shoulders the most important thing I look for. The floor was quiet even though there was a roaring B'day party going on in the hotel. We asked for restraunt recommendations and a taxi and the staff was more than accomdating. All in all, I don't think I would stay if the rate was over $100. I think the regular rate would have been $85 but we got the bargain of $50 and were quite pleased. Definetely Above Average in quality.

I had stayed at this hotel which is conveniently situated on Stemmons Freeway (I-35) south of Mockingbird Lane about 12 miles from Dallas Airport (Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport) and 3 miles from Love Field Airport. The downtown government and financial districts are all situated within 6 minutes of the hotel.
I had dinner at the Bristol Bar & Grill, which is located inside the hotel. The food was good. You can choose to order a variety of foods from the menu or just order the buffet.
There is also an indoor swimming pool with a billiards table at the poolside. Adjacent to the pool is a fitness center. This area closes at 11:00 p.m.
I was surprised to learn that this hotel is pet friendly, a nice accommodation for travelers traveling with pets.
A complimentary newspaper was outside the room door every morning.
The room itself has a coffee maker, alarm clock, iron and ironing board and comfortable, clean beds. There is a small area with a table and two chairs. Plenty of closet and dresser drawer space for clothes. Being so close to the freeway, I was pleasantly surprised to have found the room quiet.
I have no complaints about the hotel itself. However, if you are on foot, there are no restaurants or stores within walking distance from this hotel.

The hotel is not in the best of neighborhoods nor is it in the best of condition. You can see the efforts at renovation which are nice - new bed, new radio, etc. but they left out things that ruin the overall effect, such as patches in the bathtub porcelin, curtains that are dingy and tattered along the edges, stained carpet, etc. On the plus side, the service in the bar and restaurant was great (the front desk service was limited by it being a constant employee meeting spot) and the workout room is exceptional.
