A good place to stay for a stop over, I arrived in the afternoon and flew out the next morning. The room was clean and tidy the bathroom was a bit small but very usable. The bar/restaurant was adequate with a very pleasant outdoor area, staff were good.
I would not stay for more than 2 days but as I mentioned is was more than adequate for a stop over

If you're on a budget and want a reliable place, this is it. This is one of the basic Courtyards, not one of the nicer / remodeled ones (if you stay in Courtyards a lot, you know what I mean). Older property, has been well maintained & is clean. Biggest plus is the weekend prices -- we regularly pay $55-65 for queen nonsmoking. I'm in Dallas for a weekend every few months, & I keep pricing hotels in north Dallas from Beltline down to SMU area, & this is regularly the best deal going, for the cost/value.

There's a Starbucks a couple of (big) blocks away on Forest. There's a big filling station & quickstop store next door, if you want to buy something that the little lobby cubbyhole doesn't have. It's a quick drive back into the main part of north Dallas (near the Galleria, or along Preston). If you're flying in/out of Love Field, it's a fast drive down Marsh, and a quick hop onto LBJ if you're heading in/out of DFW.

Staff declined to give me an upgrade even though the internet said one was available. I had to push to get a refrigerator even though the request is clearly on my profile, which few Marriotts even read anyway. The room is about the size of a "budget" motel room with an odd layout with the TV not facing the bed. The bathroom floor was dirty and there was blood on the drapes. Bed was not comfortabe. I am not sure why anyone would stay at a Courtyard as they dont give free coffee in the lobby and no free breakfast. Courtyard is the only Marriott which does not give free breakfast to Platinum status guests. I will never be staying at any Courtyard again. I should have checked into a "budget" hotel.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else.

Nothing impressive -- just a clean place to sleep. It really wasn't very memorable in amenities or hotel staff. I didn't get the typical go-out-of-their-way staff saying hello in the morning or anything like that. This is a no-frills place that isn't really close to anything, but good for a business trip. I would stay here again if I had to, but would be open to finding something else in the Marriott line that is nicer. The pool area could have used some new furniture - our table was about to fall apart and was duct-taped a long time ago. Overall, it was priced right and just OK. It just doesn't seem like anyone cares about the property. I wouldn't rate it poor, but I don't think it's really average either.

When I selected this hotel, I thought they would be closer to Love Field, but the hotel was a $23 taxi ride from Love Field. The staff was outstanding and the room was excellent. The only disappointment is that you have to walk a good 4/10 to a half mile to find a restaurant for dinner. There is a gas station next door that sells packaged sandwiches, hot dogs, etc. Booking my hotel along with my Southwest Airlines ticket, I qualified for $59 per night for both Thursday and Friday nights.

Room Tip: Bring a snack unless you want to walk a long way to find a restaurant.

I booked this on Priceline (name your own price) well caveat emptor. The hotel itself is located in a sketchy area. The desk clerk was rude upon check in. $100 was held on my debit card for incidentals. The rooms are tiny. The maids were loudly yammering in the hall pretty much the whole time which was a problem since the walls are paper-thin. The TV was weirdly positioned as well as the entire room. Could not wait to get outta this place!!
