We arrived as a family with 2 children on New Years Eve for a 3-night stay. They did not have a room for us (two beds) so we accepted a downgrade (1 bed & pullout couch) because I had a sleeping 4-yr old on my shoulder.
The first room they placed us in had wet carpets so we asked to be moved.
Our new room had dirty pillows and requested 2 replacements (which they promptly brought up). The mattress on the pullout was very poor (did not provide any cushion) so we requested to be moved into a room that matched what we had booked (2 beds) for night 2 & 3 of our stay.
They also gave us vouchers for free breakfasts when we first checked in (because of the inconvenience). This was nice recognition. But the restaurant would later only accept 3 of the 4 vouchers for some undisclosed reason. We did not complain - we just paid & moved along.
Upon moving into this 3rd room during our stay, we found wet spots all over the carpet again (diff room 6 floors away). At this point we gave up. We made sure they weren't biohazard and will just walk around with shoes on for the rest of our stay.
Valet was $30 a night. The staff was friendly, but lacked an attention to detail. I'm a Hilton member and used to frequent this chain. More
