First time in this hotel and although a bit expensive worth the cost. The hotel rooms are spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The spa has everything you need and the restaurant is very good. A nice bar made a great combination. Very good fitness center as well. All tripadvisor recommendations were true. Congrats for the management and staff.

There is always a level of high-expectation of delivery of fine service and quality of product when staying at a Ritz Carlton--this one in Dallas held those high standards, indeed. The staff is well-trained and the appointments of the facility are impeccible. When in the room, I was greeted with a personalized note from the manager and a bowl or fresh fruit--a welcome refreshment after a day of travel. The property is well-located in the heart of downtown Dallas and in easy walking distance of many corporate offices--ideal for being right across McKinney from my company!

The ritz surpassed my expectations. The service was superb and will certainly be the driving force for a future recommendation to anyone looking for a hotel in Dallas. Valet, concierge, front desk, bartenders... Everyone went out of their way to make sure the experience was outstanding. The lobby is beautiful and the bar is wonderful.. Oak walls, lounge space, good company. 2 thumbs up.

This is the finest hotel I've stayed in, in Dallas. This Ritz Carlton lives up to the expectations you would think a Ritz Carlton should maintain. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful from the doorman, front staff and bartender. Over the past 6 months I had been trying out new hotels each time I traveled to Dallas for work - that experiment is over, after staying at the Ritz Carlton. Granted the price is more per night than other options in the downtown area, but you’re paying for luxury - that’s always what you pay for when you stay at hotels like the Ritz Carlton brand. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom was huge, double sinks, bath tub, and beautifully tiled shower.

The fitness center was very nice (not as large or as complete as the Dallas Sheraton’s gym). One side note, if you’re into serious workouts and like a wide array of workout equipment the Dallas Sheraton’s gym is second to none. The Ritz Carlton has a nice pool – great for these hot summer days. The Ritz Carlton offered fresh guacamole and nacho chips at 6 pm near their bar – it was quite popular. Also, the bar menu at the Ritz Carlton was delicious – try the buffalo tacos. The location of the Ritz Carlton is centrally located in downtown Dallas, perfect location if you’re travelling for business.

Stayed here for a couple of nights, in suite with king bed and sofa bed. Requested (before dinner) that sofa bed be made up, but came back to find it not done, nor the room turned down. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious (except for the miniscule shower), but the mattresses were terrible, the saggiest we have encountered in years, and the last thing one expects from a Ritz. When I told the manager on duty, he said they'd take care of it after we left, no offer to move us! We had back-aches both mornings and checked out early because of it. Another problem was the lobby temperature, which every guest felt compelled to remark upon, and which made it feel like a meat-locker. (I asked a desk person why it was kept so cold and she said she didn't know and that none of the employees liked it either. They actually keep shawls for the guests, but won't adjust the temperature from the low 60's.) On the other hand, the heavy down blankets made it difficult to stay cool in the extremely hot weather, adding to the bizarre policy that encourages extravagant air conditioning at the same time that they profess an environmentally responsible attitude about laundering of linens. I'm fine with keeping my lines for a couple of days, but only if management takes the lead on the crazy use of down comforters in desert climates and refrigerated lobbies. Third problem was the business center, which was kept locked, freezing cold (even colder than the lobby), and charged $7.50 for 15 minutes of internet use. It was obvious that no one used it and that management wanted it that way.
Outdoor bar was pleasant and expertly staffed. Had a fantastic dinner at Fearings. Would recommend the restaurant, but not the hotel.

Room Tip: Try the mattress before you settle in.

I spent a night for a work meeting, the hotel is everything you would expect from a Ritz-Carlton. Out meeting was in the banquet area of the hotel, our meeting ran long that evening and the staff didn't bat an eye, they were beyond accommodating. The hotel is near to several restaurants and the up town area of Dallas.

We were blessed to stay at this fabulous hotel on July 13th. It was the most perfect, stress free stay we have ever had. Reading their letter welcoming us to the Hotel which we received before our stay it states "One of your most memorable experiences is about to begin." This hotel delivered. From the moment we arrived we were treated with a perfect balance of respect, professionalism and sincerity. All of our needs and potential needs were met without us even having to ask. EVERY member of the staff showed us extreme courtesy, asked us about the concert (we were there for Kiss/Def Leppard) and were as excited as were that we were going. We stayed at the Club Level where we were exposed to some amazing food, changed out several times during the day and were instantly welcomed and put at ease by the Club Supervisor Mr. Robert Rosenberg who was amazing beyond words and later by his Team member Meghan. We cannot say enough about how great this entire experience was. We did not feel like for once we were just paying for a room with an indifferent staff. We were treated as though we had value and given a complete experience of luxury. Quite frankly we didn't want to leave feeling relaxed, having slept wonderful in a beautifully appointed room but business called. Thinking as we went downstairs we wish we could have stayed longer upon having valet bring our car around a young attendant said "Mrs. Inman would you like to get you and Mr. Inman some bottled water for your trip home?" Perfect ending to a perfect day. We cannot wait to return in August for my Birthday stay and Phantom of the Opera. The very day we arrived home and made reservations for our 10 year Anniversary after we'd spent weeks trying to figure out where to go, this experience was so memorable. The ONLY regret is our last 8 hotel stays were not here, lesson learned:)
