Situated in the Arts district with some excellent museums just a few dollars ride away and not far from the business/Downtown area it is well located. The Fort Worth museums are about USD90 (each way) 'Uber' taxi ride away and worth a visit. The main shopping is in North Park Mall about a USD25 ride in a cab. As one would expect from a hotel of this class, service is very good. One must bear in mind though that at this price level things have to be pretty much perfect. The room was traditional in style and quite acceptable, if maybe getting a tad old with the cooling/heating a little noisy. Room noise/creep from others and plumbing was non-existent which is always a pleasure and rare. Window sound proofing is not the best, but OK. During our stay the outside temp was around freezing and there is no bathroom heating, or night blind/curtain and no ventilation in the toilet.... rather shameful! The Club Lounge is one of the best of all the hotels I have been in. The Staff are very helpful throughout the hotel. Housekeeping needs improvement, condiments and bathroom gels not always replaced, the whole room was missed completely one day and best of all, my washing was returned on hangers in nice plastic wraps but….unwashed! It seems to be mainly used by groups or companies and can be a little busy at times. Unless you are on the Club floor the internet is charged for and slow! Overall it is fine but not quite up to the mark.
