“Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”

Everything from start to finish at this restaurant is always spectacular. The waitstaff is superb, especially Renee. The management is outstanding, Jeff and Mike are always there to help out and do a tremendously wonderful job of going above and beyond to take care of their staff and customers. If you have never eaten here you have to give it a try. They're also the only restaurant that I know of in the Dallas area with Grey Goose on tap served at a chilling 27 degrees.

“Best food in Dallas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2012 via mobile

I've never had anything I didn't love.
My favorite restaurant in Dallas.
For appetizers the tuna nachos, Brie fondue, and smoked salmon are great and also the portabello fries.
The Greek and Caesar salad are awesome. And my favorite entree is the salmon.
You will not be disappointed.

“Average fare at Kenny's”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2012

I went to Kenny's with a small group of friends during restaurant week and we all got different variations of the special tasting menu. We were expecting a lot due to the restaurant's reputation and prices, and while the food was overall decent we were underwhelmed by the meal as a whole.

Appetizer: We all tried the Ahi Tuna nacho and Tenderloin Crostini and these two appetizers were the best part of the entire meal especially the tuna. The fish was fresh, seared perfectly and tasted amazing with the accompanying sauce.

Soup: Several of us tried the french onion soup which was very good as well. There was a lot of gruyere cheese in the soup that made it a bit rich. This went very well with the fresh popovers Kenny's makes.

Main course: We had the trout, filet mignon and wood grilled chicken for our main entrees. The filets were cooked perfectly and the chicken was okay but nothing too special. The trout on the other hand was seasoned with a cajun rub that was so salty none of us could eat it. That was the major downside of the meal.

Dessert: The creme brulee was on the sweet side, and there wasn't accompanied by the usual berries that I believe cuts the richness of the desert.

While we had an overall decent meal at Kenny's the inconsistencies we encountered means we probably won't return.

“Great Smoke!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

This was a Dallas Restaurant Week pick for me. The menu looked great and i will return to try other options besides those delegated to the 'restaurant week menu'. Other all, the service was outstanding and the wood smoke smell/flavor came through on every dish!
