Description: Since 1981 La Calle Doces has been serving the Dallas area delicious seafood and Tex-Mex made with the freshest ingredients. Signature dishes such as Pescado a la Parilla, Ceviche and Camaron a la Veracruzana have made such an impact that on August 6th, 1999 a second location was opened in Lakewood. Guess can enjoy the rich culture of Coastal Mexico through the fresh and flavorful cuisine. Just 10 minutes from Downtown Dallas, La Calle Doce offers daily specials, friendly smiles, and a cozy atmosphere and traditional menu.

“Fish Taco lovers UNITE!!!”
Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

EPIC Mexican seafood.!! Had the 3 Amigos tacos. Fresh & Outstanding:Mahi Mahi, salmon, & white fish. And they "knocked it out the park" on the black bean & corn relish. My wife had very good chicken enchiladas. Great place in quaint house. Will definitely stop by next time in Dallas.

“Que Bueno!”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

This is the original Calle Doce and it's no wonder that it's survived for so long. The food is fresh, well presented and reasonably priced. Wait staff is attentive but not pushy. The porch is spacious and can be enclosed for chilly weather. The shrimp appetizer (in a goblet with onions, avocado and tomato) can't miss. The deluxe nachos are outstanding. The place features Mexican seafood and pretty much all of it is top flight. The reason for all the praise is Calle Doce has maintained its culinary credibility over the years while still coming up with interesting dishes that don't bore you. The atmosphere is very comfortable and, one of the biggest pluses...it's quiet enough so you can carry on a conversation. You can't say that about many restaurants in Dallas or Oak Cliff. You will not be disappointed. Try it, you'll like it.

“Great Mexican Gulf Coast Cuisine”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

The real thing. Not Tex-Mex, but true basic fare with the taste of the Mexican Gulf Coast. Portions are generous, yet not overwhelming. Great atmosphere, with musicians wandering about the tables offering their fare for tips.
The paella on weekends is almost a tradition with us.
