“Great price-value. Very romantic.”
Reviewed June 21, 2007

We celebrated our 27th Anniversary with a night at the Adolphus Hotel and dinner in the French Room. The French Room is beautiful. It’s a great romantic restaurant. We met chef Jason Weaver and Sommelier Gregory Cheval paired some nice wines with our three courses. Everything was perfect. Dinner for two, 3-courses, with wine pairings came to $260, before gratuities. Our parents are coming to town next month, and instead of the usual dinner at the Mansion on Turtle Creek, we’ll treat them to another fine-dining experience at the French Room.

“Wow - takes your breath away!”
Reviewed January 15, 2007

My husband and I went for my birthday dinner. The service was impeccable. The food was amazing. It all comes out in many courses and they cleanse your palate with sorbet in between. It is very expensive, with a moderate bottle of wine our bill was over $200. I would definitely recommend going but know what you're comfortable with spending and have a memorable time. If you can't spend that kind of money, go somewhere else and have dinner there.

“Superb Service and Atmosphere”
Reviewed November 11, 2006

I went here with my mom and sister for a girl's night out. The waitstaff was soooooo great. They were always there to pull your chair out for you or refold your napkin. They offered some great suggestions for dinner and dessert. The food is served in small portions for the $$, but everything we ordered was phenomenal. The steak melted in my mouth, as well as the lobster appetizer. After dinner, they give you some sort of pastry in a "doggie bag" to take home for breakfast. Overall, it is a very pricey resturaunt, but well worth the money. Everyone needs to try it at least once.
