Had a breakfast that was decent but average. Seamed like a very few people were trying to handle everything. Nice room and a good setting.

This is a review for the breakfast. We made a weekend trip to Dallas and stayed at the Warwick Melrose which was great. On the morning of departure, ice storm was approaching so we decided to stay in and have breakfast at the hotel. It's expensive but that's how it is if you eat at hotels. What ruined the morning was long black hair found quarter way into my waffle. Didn't want to make big deal out of it. So we wrote a note on a survey card that came with the bill. I also filled out (automated) survey sent from the hotel and mentioned this incident. Response? None. I'm pretty disappointed.

The Landmark is located in Warwick Hotel and probably was once an outstanding restaurant. I think they are good, but not great and it seems that they might be struggling a little. They advertise 3 courses for $35, a great deal. There are no table linens and the finish on wooden table was peeling off. Not a good look. Service was OK and the food was very good, just not great.

We were very disappointed in this very expensive Christmas day buffet. The food was cold and much of it tasteless. The prime rib and pork were tough and inedible. The buffet tables were out in the hallways of the hotel making it crowded and difficult to navigate. I expected much, much more for $60 per person.

I will say though, that the staff was attentive and friendly and never let our drink glasses get empty.

I emailed the restaurant a week ago and have not received any response.

Good food, excellent service, quiet and reasonable $. We had Christmas lunch that was buffet style spread throughout the lobby. It was excellent. They had every food imaginable. It was delicious. Also had breakfast, yum, great pancakes.
