We had dinner after a long drive and were once again rewarded with a superb meal and service. The wine list is exceptional, the ambience relaxing, and the staff attentive. The Landmark is part of the Warwick Melrose Hotel. The restaurant's decor compliments an establishment built in the early twentieth century of great hotels. On Sunday morning, a wedding party had their after affair breakfast in the large dining room. I could tell that they were pleased with the service and food. Also available is the adjacent Library which serves meals late and has a full bar.

Normally we stay away from hotel restaurants. They are one or more of the following: overpriced, poor service, poor food. The Landmark is a BIG EXCEPTION! A part of the Melrose Warwick Hotel, we had two dinners and breakfasts, and one small lunch in the adjoining The Library Bar. The food is excellent. The quality is superb with the portions just right. The Midwestern Angus steak was tender and delicious. The grupper was cooked perfect. Breakfast has a wide choice from healthy cereals to eggs benedict or salmon. The staff is efficient and polite. During December 2010 there is a 3 for $30 ($5 extra for the Angus and Grupper) that includes an appetizer, entree, dessert, and a large sampling of their house wines (Columbia Crest) which were very good. We will go back the next time we stay at the Melrose Warwick.

We ate here for two evenings during our stay at the warwick melrose hotel. It was a delight to eat somewhere that wasn't a 'burger' or 'steak' house! The food was delicious, and looked as good on the plate as it tasted, portions were a very good size, as quite often in a nice restaurant the food is lovely, but you don't always get enough.

Our first evening dining here was on a monday evening and was very quiet, although we didn't mind, our waitress was polite, professional and knew all the food that was being served. The Tuesday evening was a lot busier, but this did not falt our service or experience at all. Fresh water was provided at the table as soon as your glass was emptying.

The only downfall is that we live in England, so unfortunately may never visit this restaurant again, but if i lived locally, I would be a very frequent visitor.

Katie and I were the only two people in the joint. After the food came, we knew why...
