While in Dallas for the 2012 RV Show found this place near where we were staying. Appetizers and entrees were tasty, served by professional staff, and the entire meal experience was very pleasant. Not cheap so be prepared for a pricey, but well worthwhile dininer at one of Dallas' best, in our opinion.

I ran across Al Biernat's while looking for a good steak place in Dallas. Three friends and I were in town for the Cowboys Classic. I was smart enough to make reservations a couple weeks ahead of time. I am glad I did because the place was packed at 9:00 PM (our reservation time) We waited 15 minutes in the bar and a drink. Our server was great. He was very engaging and knew the menu. Two of us had the Rib eye and two had the Strip steaks along with a couple potato choices. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the potato sides were awesome as well. Could not have been a better choice for our Big trip to the Big D.

One of "the" places to go and be seen in the Dallas scene. Great food, great wine list, but quite crowded. Professional staff truly know the menu and wine list and offer world-class service.
Highly recommend asking for a booth in the corner or at the side of the restaurant to avoid some of the noise, and go early. The decor is nice but nothing special. Anything after 7 pm, bring your ear plugs.

We had an excellent steak dinner in a party of eight. Very very noisy - too noisy to hear conversation beyond the person sitting directly next to you.
The restaurant was very busy - a good sign, but service was average at best.
The bar is decidedly a sports bar, while the restaurant is more elegant in decor. Dress is casual.

We were smitten by the service and the food at Al Biernat's. The good humor of the staff, the knowledgeable food and wine advice, and the quality of meat (Wagyu steak is spectacular) made this a very special dining experience. The restaurant has the ambiance of grand restaurants of yesteryear. Any special food requests are gladly accepted and catered to without fault. This is the place in Dallas for your special occasion!
