We were quite hungry after several hours in the new Perot Museum. El Fenix is just across the street and this was our quick choice for a late lunch. Seated immediately, our waiter arrived with silverware and menus. He took our drink order and our combo appetizer order which consisted of quality queso and guacamole with nice thick warm chips. While we wolfed our way thru this we stopped long enough to order from the lunch menu. Two ordered the Mexican lunch special (2 enchiladas rice & beans), wife ordered the fish tacos and I ordered the brisket tacos. The waiter brought another batch of cripsy hot chips and more salsa, and refilled tea glasses. Like I mentioned, we were hungry. The meals arrived in reasonable time and everything came as ordered. The food was consistent with other Tex-Mex restaurants in and around Dallas. Its good but not knock your socks of great. We would go again if in the neighborhood.
