You really do get what you pay for. This is one of the best splurges in Dallas. The cuisine is consistently excellent. I don't know anyone else who can make Bok Choy taste so amazing (go figure). If you are looking for a special place to have a wonderful meal, you will find it all here... Just bring plenty of $$$

My gal pals and I had a progressive dinner that began at ABACUS. We had lobster shooters (A MUST) and calamari. The food, service and atmosphere were all wonderful.

“One of the Best Ever!!!!”

I have never craved anything the way I crave Rathbun's Lobster Shooters. That sauce is my all time favorite. I would put it on anything and love it.

This has been one of my favorite Dallas restaurants for years. Chef Rathburn's flagship is always special. Treat yourself to an evening you will remember for a long time.

“Nice dining experience for a Thursday night”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

My sister and I decided to try Abacus and we were happy about our choice. The food was very creative and the "influences" were definitely authentic. The staff was very helpful and obviously took their jobs VERY seriously.
... And yes, the lobster shooters are great, but i was more enthralled by the flavors and textures in the foie gras and eclair small plate.
The drinks were ok, the decor was good. It is not a quiet restaurant but we could talk at normal volumes without difficulty.
