“An absolute blast!”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

I was a little skeptical about this because of the price. But it absolutely delivered. My wife and I took our two sons (ages 5 and 3). We stayed for 7 hours, and they were begging to stay.

Parking was great. $5 for a spot within 25 yards of the ticket entrance. Then, when we went in, we were greeted with leis. The entire park is a tropical theme that is really fun (music, employees dressed in tropical gear, flowers, etc). We were also given tokens for cold bottled water, which we used throughout the day.

The crowd was tiny. We really thought we had the place to ourselves. We never waited for any rides. Our kids rode the little kids rides as much as they wanted. All rides are included in the admission price. The only thing we paid for that day was our lunch, which cost us about $30 for the four of us (including ice cream!). There are tons of eating options, just like you would expect at the fair (including Fletcher's corny dogs).

The park is very well-maintained (even the bathrooms were clean) and very well layed out. It was compact, so that there wasn't an excessive amount of walking to get from one attraction to another. But there were a TON of attractions! Shows, games, rides, sandcastles to build. All kinds of stuff. We could have stayed the full 10 hours it was open and not gotten bored. Usually our boys are tired and ready to move one, but not on this day.

The other thing we liked was that the vast majority of the park is shaded. So everywhere you walk you are in the shade. There are fans creating breezes all over the place. And there are tents on every corner to duck into with a/c if you need it. So even though it was 102 outside on this day, we were never fatigued by the heat. Contrast that with the exhaustion I've felt at Six Flags, and I was impressed.

Admission also included a trip to the aquarium there in the park, which we took advantage of. Great deal - even got to pet stingrays.

I truly hope they do this again next summer. We will definitely be back. The admission price is high, but due to all that you get in exchange, it was WELL worth it. If you have young kids, this is a super place to play!

“Great fun”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

My 4 year old grandchild had the best time. The staff went out of their way and were very friendly. The rides were geared for young children and the lines were short. Her parents were able to go on several of the rides with her and they had fun also. If you have young children and don't want to spend most of the day waiting in line this is the place.
