“Chicken Fajita Nachos”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

I have visited this restaurant several times and have been impressed each time. For the St. Patty's day parade, they served up street tacos that were delicious. For a birthday dinner, I went and had amazing fajita nachos that were colorful and delicious. On another occasion we went to the bar to have margaritas before and event. Word to the wise, they are tasty but strong! They will not disappoint. Then I recently experienced their beer and bacon happy hour. OMG. It was amazing. Check this place out if you are on lower Greenville and want some excellent Mexican food.

“Spotty”

I really want this place to make it on Lower Greenville. Nice room, staff and offerings. One recent meal delivered a very hot plate, beans and rice, but it was obvious the rest of the plate was right out of the frig and warmed up.

“Cozy neighborhood find - Nero's”
Reviewed December 12, 2005

This is a great little neighborhood restaurant located in the Lower Greenville area of Dallas. The main dining room has red Christmas lights draped across the room and tall black booths along the wall. The other dining room has wood wine bins from floor to ceiling. There's also a patio for those who like to sit outside and/or smoke (since Dallas is a nonsmoking City). NO TV's -- gotta love that in a restaurant. Very romantic, quiet place.

The menu is different from most traditional Italian places. We started with the calamari and Nero's pink bread. The calamari was coated in a perfect salty breading. For dinner, we had the Gnocchi Gorgonzola (potato dumplings in Gorgonzola cream sauce with crushed walnuts) and Chicken Luigi (chicken breast stuffed with cheese, spinach, sundried tomatoes). Both were rich and mouth watering good.

Wine selection was good and very reasonably priced. Great little place. Would definitely go back.
