Firstly, the shop is small and very charming. Cheese is not all that is offered. There are many one-of-a-kind items: jams, salts, Marcone almonds.

I attended this class because it offered pairings with cheese other than wine. The class was informative and enlightening. The explanations, knowledge and passion Rich and his staff have for cheese is very evident. In all we were offered 8 cheeses with two parings each. In addition, every two cheeses were accompanied with a wine.

The highlights for me were:
Delice de Bourgogne triple cream and pickled figs. Out of this world.

Parmigiano Reggiano with prosciutto. Some prosciutto can be gamey. This was smooth and incredible. Paired with the Parm it was a wonderful duet of the tastes.

Colston Bassett Stilton and golden fig jam. More please!!!

I could go on and on.

You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I stopped in on a little trip from Tarrant County on a Saturday afternoon. Very quiet in there at first, but it got busy as the day went on and it was time for dinner parties.

Our cheese enthusiast (their term, not mine) seemed to be quite the know it all of good cheese, almost to the point of having an off-putting snarky Dallas attitude, but give him credit, we gave him an idea of what we liked and he nailed it. A smoky blue cheese, a Barolo-creminelli, and a Flory's cheddar, to go along with some slightly smoky prosciutto and some salami, was wonderful - add in a little cut up baguette in a cute store, and it was a great way to kill some time and an appetite in Dallas. We will certainly be back and probably with friends.

This is under the restaurant category. However it is a gourmet artisan cheese shop. Wonderful selection. Very knowledgeable staff. They regularly have cheese classes here that are paired with wine. Sign up early they fill up fast . On Saturday there is a come and go cheeses tasting. Call for times. Wine available for purchase by the glass.

I am a wine enthusiast and this is a great place to learn about artisan cheeses. I have taken to of their classes, been in for a great sandwich, and just for a cheese plate and wine. The staff are extremely friendly and each time has been an experience!
