We were somewhat disappointed in this Presidential Library and Museum. There was very little about their lives before they entered the White House. There was very little about the former First Lady. The plus of this library is that you actually get to walk into the Oval Office, unlike the other libraries where you stand behind a rope and peer into the oval office.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this library. There are numerous videos of George and Laura Bush that are warm and personal. The 911 exhibit is very emotional. There is a section of steel from the World Trade Center. There are numerous interactive stations that allow you to delve into areas that are of interest to you. You can have your picture taken behind the president's desk in the replica of the Oval Office. The most interesting section was where the visitor's voted to learn more about one of the three top issues of his presidency and hear the advice of his advisors and then vote on how you would have proceeded.

I visited this library, my first presidential library, in early November . My available time was limited, so I wasn't able to spend as much time as I wanted. I will definitely return for a repeat visit.
Plan to spend at least two to three hours learning about events during GW's term and why he made the decisions he made.
God bless America, and George W. Bush

Located on the grounds of SMU in Dallas, this new Presidential Library is a must see.
From the entrance hall and its 360 degres projection, to the Decision Point Theater and walk-in Oval Office, you will enjoy this visit and learn a lot about the 43rd president.
We visited many Presidential Library and GWB's rates among the best.
Latest exibit technology, wonderful memorablia from the presidency and educating information.
Plan at least a couple hours and take your time to appreciate the exibits.
Do not miss to spend some time in the Decision Point Theater... the experience is great and makes you realize a lot about what the President went through.
Admission is 16$ (and worth it).
Parking is across the street and cost 7$.

Mindful of what happened 50 years ago, it was refreshing to see positive Presidential history in Dallas. The exhibition has something to keep all ages entertained: innovative uses of technology, a reading area with books for the kids, powerful videos on 9/11 and other topics, and a nice selection of memorabilia. Don't miss the theater with Barbara and Jenna's look at W's humorous side!

A highly recommended stop for anyone with 2 - 3 hours in Dallas.
