Visited on a Friday afternoon. I had a timed ticket, but probably could have gotten by without it. Loved the video in the foyer. Enjoyed all of the exhibits especially the one about 9/11. Loved having my picture made in his oval office. Didn't have any problems parking across the street. Paid for parking in the museum.

We went to the museum on July 5 and found it to be a really nice visit. The exhibits were very informative and easy to read, but the lines were very long in front of almost every exhibit. This was not unexpected since it was on a holiday weekend and probably lots more people were there than normal. We plan to go back again to see the rest of the museum, especially the Oval Office section. I thought the 9/11 exhibit was really good and the Florida election 'hanging chad' rememberance was good. We do recommend this to see if you are in the DFW area and we now plan to try and go to other Presidential museum's in the future.

Because the Bush Presidency is so recent, going through these exhibits brings back vivid memories of all the events depicted. It is very well done. I enjoyed the free audio tour. One thing that struck me as interesting was the Oval Office replica. You could sit in the chair and pose for photos. They didn't rush you so you had a chance to get a decent one. Additionally, a professional photographer snapped everyone. We ended up buying the professional photo because it was a good momento. Additionally, they give you a website to get the digital file if you buy the photo. You could easily spend a couple hours there. We did. Didn't get bored. If you are in Dallas with some time on your hands, head to SMU and take this in. You will be glad you did.

I visited the Museum on a trip from the UK and was very impressed with the architecture of the building. It was also a real eye opener watching Americans respond to the exhibitions and enabled me to find out more about the the Bush family. Would recommend. Shame it doesn't have a cafe.

I visited the museum with my family. The museum is small and cramped. I did not find much substance in the exhibits except for general slogans of freedom and democracy which were repeated constantly during his presidency. You would think there would be much to show after eight years in office. But, the museum is surprisingly lacking in anything informative. Instead, it contains some random gifts, illegible letters, and some short videos. At $16 per person and $7 for parking, it's a bit expensive for what you get.
