“Wonderful experience!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

This is not your old school museum. Fantastic ALL DAY LONG experience! I recommend checking out the movie then start at the top level and work your way all the way down! Definitely check out the lab experience on the 3rd floor!

Reviewed November 22, 2013 via mobile

We were gonna go in July I was visiting my brother in law from new mexico so we were only there for the weekend went we went it was sold out. So this time I bought the tickets online and my family and I loved it its great the structure is great and they got everything set up in floors I decided to start at top and work are way down my oldest son loves dinosaurs so he loved the floor their were in. They had a well head too it was nice very familiar we live in the Permian Basin so it was fun to get on one of the games they had and see the first stage of a five stage fracc. I love it , great experience......

“good way to spend an afternoon”
Reviewed November 19, 2013

Lots of interesting stuff here. Try to go when there aren't a lot of kids, though that might be hard to do. Skip the special exhibit there now (Animals Inside Out). It costs extra, and I would have rather spent the time exploring the main exhibits.

“New museum, high quality displays, first class facility”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

We spent 3 hours going non-stop thru the exhibit areas. Well presented and high quality displays. Interesting things to see and read about in all areas, Solar System, Engineering, robot area, bio lab, dinosaurs, birds, energy, gems and minerals, dynamic earth, and some nice views of nearby downtown Dallas buildings. The wait for an elevator to go to the different levels was fairly long at times, but they seemed to be working on smoothing out the elevator operations.

“Great Educational Experience in the heart of Downtown Dallas!”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

What a great way to learn about the world we live in! This is a highly-interactive museum for kids of all ages! The museum itself is divided into different "genres", so participants can learn about everything from space, to Mother Nature, to rocks and dinosaurs! I would highly recommend by-passing the elevator and taking the glass escalator all the way up to the top floor. This will allow you some incredible views of the Dallas skyline. From there, you can make your way down and around to the lower levels. One could easily spend 2-3 hours here without even trying. In fact, after a certain point, I felt total brain overload because there was just so much to see and do, it was hard to process it all. If you are local, a museum membership might be in order. But if you are just in for a day visit, wear comfortable shoes and get ready for a mental marathon!
