“excellent food and service”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

The menu had a lot to choose from. There were skillets, egg choices, waffles, corned beef hash. etc. The service was great and the food tasty. Highly recommend.

“I really enjoyed it!”
Reviewed January 31, 2014 via mobile

This is a great restaurant choice, to me. I really like their Eggs Benedict. They know how to poach an egg correctly. You would be surprised at how many breakfast places can't do it right!

The restaurant is conveniently located. It is kept EXTREMELY clean. My experience with the staff was excellent today. I even came in pretty close to closing time (close at 2pm), and they treated my royalty, and kept telling me to not feel rushed, and to take my time. The manager even stops by to make sure you are a happy customer.

Now, as for the reviews that rated this place low, because the food is bland. That was really the only complaints I read. The cooks do not over-season ANYTHING here. This is perfect for anyone wanting to control their sodium consumption. I personally prefer this over the salt and msg drenched dishes served at many places these days. Now, that being said... you can customize your dish. For a couple examples; you can add spinach to your Eggs Benedict, or spice it up with a number of seasonings. You can also ask for onions or bacon to your fried potatoes. I believe this place would prepare your meal any way that suited you.

This establishment is just across the street from Doctor's Hospital. So, if you are visiting a patient there, and have a yearning for a nice breakfast or lunch, that is close by, give them a try. I don't think you would be disappointed.

I will be back.

“Awesome Brunch”

No wait and great food. Big big portions and super inexpensive. Servers were extra friendly and down to earth. We are from Dallas and have just found this gem! This was our third visit this year. It gets better every time.

“An Expensive Downward Trender”
Reviewed September 14, 2013 via mobile

A long time ago, this really cool place opened in Casa Linda. There was excellent quality and, granted, upmarket prices. But the value was there and plenty of people loved it as evidenced by the long waits. They opened a new place in Old Town. For a while it, too, did well. Fast forward to today. The second restaurant is closed and, there is always plenty of room at the original place. Bland has replaced tasty. Everything these days is dry and unseasoned. Unfortunately when a restaurant starts trending down like this, it is rare to find a turnaround. Despite the memories we are adding this place to our "to be avoided" list.
