“World class sculpture garden.”
Reviewed November 29, 2013

The depth and breadth of the collection is unparalleled for contemporary sculpture. Renzo Piano worked very closely with the collector Raymond Nasher to create the indoor outdoor space conducive to the enjoyment and appreciation of this world class collection, permanent and exhibition pieces are presented, as well as lectures on the topic. Docents are very knowledgeable.

“Art must visit”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

For those that travel to Dallas to visit galleries and art museums this is a must stop. The combination of indoor exhibit and outdoor displays makes this a very interesting tour. The displays change. Children tend to be most interested in the outdoor exhibits.

“World class sculpture collection in a world class facility”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Ray & Patsy Nasher assembled one of the premier collections of modern sculpture in the world. Mr. Nasher hired Renzo Piano to design a facility to permanently display the collection and present visiting exhibitions. This is a magnificent gift to Dallas.

While the full Nasher sculpture collection is never all on display, portions of the collection are periodically changed. The collection is too large to all be on display at once. Parts of the collection are usually on loan to museums around the world.

“Hidden Gem in Downtown Dallas”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Really interesting museum - some really unique pieces inside AND outside. Beautifully designed grounds and interior. The introductory film (downstairs) is very well done, too, and should be your first stop.
