“Fantastic, Awesome Museum”

What an awesome museum. Our 2 grand daughters thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent paintings especially the Resurrection Mural. Wish I lived closer so I could go again. If I'm ever in Dallas again I will visit. It's worth going out of your way to see the Museum.

“Fantastic Museum”
Reviewed October 2, 2003

This is a wonderful place. One of the largest oil paintings in the world called the Miracle at Pentecost is featured. It is about a third of a football field in length and two stories high. They have sound and light show that displays the painting. There is a children's exhibit called 'Experience Israel' that shows is a multi media experience 'walk through' exhibit on Israel and the Bible. They have an outdoor Bible Garden featuring the plants, trees, and herbs of the Bible. There are permanent art pieces including work by old masters like Rembrandt and Murillo, as well as American master painters like LaFarge, Ryder, and Sargent. The gift and artisan shop has pottery, hand made jewelry, prints, and sculptures from local and national artists. They have many temporary shows and exhibits which change. I came for the archaeological exhibit on the Dead Sea Scrolls. The place is amazing!
